The essence, beauty and renewal of Springtime wears well on the New York City native that now calls Florida home. And she is creating an indelible mark in the sphere of Pop music! Soulfully-sweet vocals and uniquely scene-setting poetic songwriting draws the listener into Shanta's World. Coming from a musical family and background , her affinity for the arts was imprinted as early as age 6. Inspired by icons such as; MJ, Janet, Cyndi Lauper, Pat Benatar, Pink, Aaliyah, Alicia Keys and B’jörk to name a few. Shanta's versatility and eclectic style gives her a signature sound that embodies a skillful blend of Pop, R&B, EDM & Alternative Rock. 2017 marked the beginning of a new chapter in life and new found Faith for the songstress. Her debut single "In A New Way" introduced her to the Contemporary Christian Music scene. But it wasn't until 2020 during the height of Covid-19 shutdowns that her career began paradoxically taking flight. She started her indie label; "Santofinity Music" and has consistently put out a plethora of well received releases. Breakthrough hits; “All in” and “Yellow” are her biggest singles to date.
